Re: Marching Into The March To Do List

OOPS, running a bit late with the flavor of the month (my bad). Now, it would be easy for us to go green for the flavor of the month since it is the month when we celebrate St patricks Day and we return to spring like weather (hopefully return to is very soon. SHEESH!) Of course, there are a lot of green options starting with the good old mint chocolate chip, the lime/lemon lime popsicles, and that weird thing growing in the back of your fridge (if it's moving, it may be too late)
Simple it would be to just go with the green this month, but wouldnt it be kinda boring if we all went with the same color? I mean, we need some diversity and diversity is how we roll in here sooooooooooooooooooo.. I reccomend that we expand our horizons, that we look beyond the one color and enjoy a variety. After all when the leaves and grass turn green this spring, the colors of spring go well beyond that. All the shades and colors of the flowers and plants even the blue sky and orangish yellow sun give spring more of a rainbow effect. You know, I really kinda dig the rain in the spring, seems to help to wash away the rest of the winter blahs but not too much rain, just a little here or there. Maybe in the evening so it doesn't interfere with too much of the springtime fun. Ok, where was I. Oh yeah, colors of spring, needing a flavor, almost baseball season, which tie am I wearing to work today? OOPS, did it again, didnt I. Sorry about that. Ok, it looks like a pretty simple choice. One that should work for everyone. And it is..... COLORS! Red, blue, yellow, purple, green, orange... Whatever color you choose is the flavor of the month. In ice cream, frozen treats, smoothies, anything at all. Your tatse buds are your canvas and you can paint them any way you like. (well, you might want to actually paint them but they may stay the color of whatever you are eating for a short time.)
So there you have it. Springtime colors become the flavor of the month of march. Of course all chips, chunks, dips, dunks, swirls... (you know the rest) are in as well. Now get down with your colorful selves!
